It's that time of year again! :undecided:
The Purple beast is booked in for it's MOT next Saturday morning. What i wanna ask is my car is heavily lowered and i mean slammed! I'm worries that they won't be able to get it on the rolling road to test the brakes, anyone else had this problem? There is a big drop into the rollers and i'm worries that the front bumper will just get wedged into it.
Cheers.

you could take the splitter off just in case?
-
Yeah tried doin that but i ended up tearing it! So pushed it back on plus the splitter is an absolute sh!t to take off and put back on! I hate them lol although they look the t!ts!
Hmmmmmmm
-
good luck, i hate MOT time!!
I am taking my valver to a mitsubishi dealership as I know someone who works there. The ramp and everything is pretty much flat as they are used to having Evo's on there with equally low front splitters so all should be well!
-
Ooo lucky sod! Good luck too buddy
I can't think of anything it could fail on apart from the fact the n/s/r tyre rub when under load and it shows :undecided: emissions might be high aswell because it needs a tune up. Agghhh i hate MOT's but they are good too because they show up any dangers that you might not be aware of!
-
I've done 3 MOT's this month, and yes they are a proper pain
-
3 MOT's
Right it's in tomorrow at 09.00! Wish me luck :undecided:
Just removed the sun strip, put normal british number plates on  :embarassed: and a new o/s mirror and sorted the rear seat belts.
Looks weird with no sunstrip or german style plates
-
i will have my fingers crossed for ya.
Are you ready for your front splitter to get mangled on the ramps etc?
-
Oh fook!!! I forgot about that :undecided:  Worried now!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers Neaty
-
if you can be assed just take it off, saves you having to hear that painful noise of it scrapping on the ramps
-
It's torn in several places where i hjavascript:void(0); :grin:ave ripped it off on kerbs when parking and things like that. Plus it takes hours to put on!
I kinda like that scraping noise  I sit back while everyone is looking shocked i think YEAH my car is low
-
 fair enough!! what ever floats your boat!
i personally hate that noise its like running ur nails down a black board!!!

You dont need to put your car on a roller for an MOT, any reputible MOT center will have a portible Gforce center that can be used inside the car on the road.
Also, my recomendation is to take it to the Import shop in Gadebridge. They have a garage that does MOTs, there often leaniant with Modified cars as the dealership its attatched too sell imported modified Supras and Scoobys etc all day long so they are well and truily used to them.
