Well I'm finally sick to f*kin death of staring at a risty turd sticking out of the ass of my car and I can't see the point in getting an original one again only for it to do the same. So I think a stainless one is in order.
Trouble is I'm a picky fecker and I don't want a noisy one, and the tip has to be round, twin slash cut and not much bigger than the original. So I was thinking of powerflow, but then I thought I'd ask (again!!) here to see if anyone has any other opinions?
On my old mk2 I had a Mongoose which looked fine but was really heavy, and kept breaking. And it was so loud it gave me earache. I want silence from it, and just a small amount to look good......

I sold them before (I worked 7 year's as a motor trade skivvy)and this was the only exhaust we didn't have any fitment complaint's about but I am still running standard on my current motor.... but this is at the top of the list as everybody stated they fitted no prob's and were just that liitle bit louder than standard and not o.t.t like most.... Must add.... I got married this year and fund's since then has taken a severe drop and my golf has taken a secondment to my life!!!!

dont know where you are in the country but you may find a custom exhaust maker nearby.. thats what i did, you can chose how loud, how big and i suppose how much - to a degree. usually these guys use stainless and aren't any more expensive than an off the shelf.
