right people im after a bit of help.ive got a 1989 gti 16v on a g plate without big bumpers and ive found two random wires (together) one is brown and the other black with a thin yellow line with female spade clips situated just in font of the battery compartment between the battery and the grill they go through a hole down to the bottom of the bumper, they are not attached to anything and every thing works as it should, what the hell are they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont think there the connections to join fogs cos im gonna put big bumpers on with fogs and the spades are a different size as ive cheched and surely id have 1 wire on one side of the engine bay and another on the other side :undecided: please hewlp me for the love of my sanity

They sound like the wires for the horn. These cars have 2 horns so maybe only 1 is currently connected. There is a horn behind the passenger wind and 1 on the slam pannel.

Not everything in the engine bay is wired up, sometimes there are just looms left in the bay as they are extras for other bits and bobs.
If everything works then i wouldn't worry about it.

Yes ive just double checked and one of my pictures in my project page shows these wires going to the horn behind the wing. Saying that though the wires going to the horn on the slam pannel are probably the same coulour too.
