Title: gear box mounts

hay ppl, i have just bought my mk2 golf gti, and it has had a new gearbox put in, not sure wich. there is a knocking at gearbox due to the torque of the engine would the g60 mounts fit straight on if so how many would i need????

just get a solid rubber gearbox mount from http://www.vwspares.co.uk

and no, the g60 one wont fit :)
the knock may be because someone has put the gearbox mount bracket bolts in the wrong way, if this happens the ends of the bolts hit the chassis leg.
