I have an idea of what others will say on this matter but I ran my 16V K - Jet for years on normal unleaded and never had any problems as a result

K-jets will run fine on standard unleaded (95ron) but you might get some pinking under heavy load. Although this is fine in the short term, prolonged use may result in damage to the piston crowns/head & valves/piston rings etc.
If you must use 95ron fuel long term the spark timing should be retarded to compensate, a slight drop in performance will result from this though.

both my 16v (k-jet) and my 8v (digi) seem to run much better on super unleaded, defo worth the extra few pennies
