Vw Golf Gti 2001

Hi mate.

I did change the sensor but the light came on again.

I took the car to my mates garage, he refitted the timing belt, the prat who had changed the timing belt before was one or two teeth out.

He realigned everything.............perfect no light. Car even runs better and is smoother.

My mate told me that when changing the timing belts on VW's special locking tools should be used to lock all the cams in place be4 taking off the belt. The prat must not have used these tools............anyway he fefunded me my money after a lot of harsh words............
