Post by: VR6_ROB on 23 September 2006, 21:11

when i first got my gti the drivers seat sat bent leaning towards middle of car
took seat out and noticed bottom of seat had been snapped and welded

so i got new interior and noticed that sits bent aswell how do i make it level again
do the runners come off that the seat goes into or not?

if the seat is leaning it normally means one of the rear legs is bent,  the runners (part of the car cant be removed as there part of the floor, the leg that slots in can be straightened though, just take the seat out and give it a slap or 2, then try it again, but it might be week if a rather heavey person has been sat in it for most its life
