Title: Just sold my Mk2 and bought a Corrado VR6

Hi Guys,

I've just sold my Golf and bought a shiny black Corrado VR6.  Am I likely to be outcast from the forum now that I'm different? :cry:

Was on the look out for a G60 Corrado myself but good ones seem to be getting rare now.

Depending how much you want to spend there are a couple on the corrado forum just now.  I had considered a G60 but couldnt be bothered with the hassle of the charger rebuilds etc.

You're right though, its getting harder to come by a good example.  Which is fine because I have one now  :grin:

nice one, i am jelous. I really want a nice Corrado. Might get myself a G60 until I can afford to buy/insure a VR

I'm moving house just now but when I get it washed and polished I'll post up some pics.

Insurance is a bit of a killer but I'm getting better mpg than I didn on my 16v GTi... well, until I plant it. :cool:

Yeah, it really is.  Fingers crossed I wont get any speeding tickets because of it... but... :undecided:

I was gonna post up some photos this weekend...  so hippy tried to break into my C midweek!  They smashed the window to get in then realised it has not door locks or pins so they would have to climb through the window... then they probably noticed that I hadnt put the my stereo in  :smiley:

Its just one of those things, but grrr.

Dont worry, i have not been chucked off the forum yet since buying mine, maybe we can ask JV if we can have our own section for "ex GTI owners who now own Rado's!"  :grin:

If you wanna know about any common Rado faults just ask,i think mine has suffered from most since i bought it!!  :sad:

I want a VR....... :sad:

What kinda rado you got?  Our own section sounds good... although I recon we're the only 2 on here, were 'special' ;)

Mines only a 1.8 16v  :sad:

Yeah i dont think there are any other Rado owners on here (although i think i remember "dubby", think thats the right user, had a red one but does not seem to have been on for ages!)

lol our own section would proably be a bit quiet!!  :laugh:
