Title: bye bye gti, rest in pieces!
Post by: yellowgti on 22 September 2006, 13:28: well guys got some sad news today, the cam belt has snapped on the gti and toled the engine, at 1st we thought we could get away with it as it was only done 9000 miles ago in october 2005 but its the waterpump thats siezed and made it snap!

sadly me n the missus cant afford the huge repair bill of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£1400 + VAT so its time to break her up,
weve had nothing but trouble with the car and thrown around Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£4000 into it with mods and clutches, gearboxes etc... now weve run out of funds

will post up in for sale room as its going to be broke, almost everything on the car is new! so if you need any mk3 gti bits take a look for the list and prices!
