Title: Front washer jet motor had packed in

Hey guys, I'm sure the front motor has failed as when I try to clean the screen the wipers move but no water from the jets & no motor sound.

1.  Can I remove the motor without all the washer fluid going all over me
2.  How much for the new item?

It's a 1984 model with the washer bottle in the rear aswell (which is working  :laugh: )

Its an easy job, you can pull the motor but water will start to come out oif the bottle.  It helps if you take the bottle off and lie it on its back, depending how much water is in the tank.

I recon halfords can sort you out with a motor, if not GSF or VW will do you one.  I'm not sure how similar the later MK2 ones are with 2 outlets?
