brilliant! I have read elsewhere that this is fine for GTIs with DSG as well - will try soon!

LOL, it's about time VW dropped that into the book!!  I'd been doing launch control starts in the Audi since April 2004!!!!!!!!! 

It doesn't really work with the Gti though  :rolleyes:
