Title: golf cab

hi there im scott,new to all this..can anybody help me..iv brought a golf cab year 1994..2ltr 8v gti engine i have a spluttering problem when hot and the exhaust fumes are really carbony and theres no perfomance till u get it up top end,then it seems ok..but its fine when cold do anybody have any ideas thanks

Welcome to the site. I'll move this to the garage section for you.

Have a search around the mk3 & garage sections as there seems to be a few issues with mk3s and their relays/ECU's etc.

coolat temp sender would be my 1st port of call, its a 4 pin jobber on a 2.0 8v and will cost about £30 from VW.
