More spec too
2007 R32 gets (over prev mod)
Improved build quality
Lower, stiffer suspension that my previous R32
I-pod / USB port as options
Silverized radio
2 full sized rear head rests
Self dipping pass mirror (Lux Spec Only)
A very strange extra "loop" on the front passenger seat belt
and the best bit for me... DSG cars get LAUNCH CONTROL - and it actually tells you how to do it in the manual!
That seems to be it - no LED rear lights etc
-
Very Very Nice!!!!!!!!!!!

Give the Doc a chance guys - he's playing with it first and can you blame him
Interesting about the build quality being up - maybe the summer break did the German mechanics some good
It's good news

Quality - looks great.
Sainsbury's shopper eh, nice to see you also practice the two bay, side by side parking method as well !!!

That looks sick as fook in silver......
as ya know, i was never a fan of the big chrome front, but hidden against the silver, it looks dark......
-
that looks a lot better than the black R32 that just got delivered to work....
nice, very nice....
-
looking good
so what options did you spec altogether??
-
that vectra in the background of the first photo looks nice.
-
Doc, I like the way you park in the middle of the two parking bays  keeps those door bangers away.
I learnt the hard way :(
-
Thanks for all the positive remarks guys - I think this colour really suits the car too!
2 bay is the way to go BUT I do park it miles away from the entrance!
Spec:
R32 3 door in reflex silver
DSG 'box
DVD navigation
Lux Pack 2
Winter Pack
Leather Trim
Cruise
I didn't want the reverse park sensors this time as I think the VW ones look  and ruin the look of the rear, so I 'll be fitting my own - watch this space!
-
Hi Doc
Good idea the two bay thing, but is that legal, when I park on the Multistory car parks in Wigan it clearly states that you will receive a parking ticket if you Park over the white lines?
Very nice car
look forward to seeing your how to take it to bits then put back together
I cant believe VW have still not fitted Fog Lamps on the R32, They must think the DOC doesn't drive is R32 on foggy days.
-
nice and understated Doc - will be awesome after some supercharge treatment!!

Benn lurking for about 2 weeks now - picked up my r a month ago. I missed the cruise off my order and the rear park sensors .. now realise I should have got both. Looking forward to your rear park sensors session - what make etc are you considering - I've seen on other sites the laserline which look great - but my local fitter is taking the ... supply colour code and fit £300
-
they really suit silver very well dont they
-
that's very nice, not been a fan of them until now. as hardcor3 said - the grille is almost hidden against the silver paint and it makes the whole car look better for it
-
Hi,
Been thinking bout the parking sensor myself, these are expensive but seem to have a hidden extra feature... http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/laserpropark.htm
Nice jam-jar doc, looks as good as my GTI (almost!!!)

I'll be fitting the STEEL MATE reversing sensors in the black panel either side of the exhaust.
You can have cruise control retro fitted by VW for £150 btw!
-
car looks sweet
you found anyone to supercharge the beast??
-
Andy at AWT tracksport would supercharge it, he'd get rid of the 2 chav zorst's too if ya asked him nicely.....

Yep .. but try to find a VW dealer that has done it / will do it in the south of the country !
-
Look's alot better in silver. Best thing about the car still the DSG paddle down shift when your on one, the v6 sounds sweet. Wish they did it in rear wheel drive.

Sorry to hijack your new car thread, but is that £150 for VW to fit VW parts inclusive of labour?
If so, im gonna have it!!!
Also, do you know if you can retro fit the highline computer?
-
Paul
Yes it is - Some dealers are aware, however from my experience v.few can / will do the work.
I've been pm'd a company who can do the work as well - just a touch more expensive that VW and oem stalk etc
-
150 all in m8!
Retrofit large comp is very dear - you would need a new cluster.
