Title: Where can I get Satin silver from?
Post by: VDubDave on 15 September 2006, 15:07: I just got a VW Golf MK3 from my mate. He treated all the rust and got a satin silver mix from the local paint shop. It looks more like primer than satin silver, although the spray job itself is very good. Is it best to get the paint from VW or a motor factors rather than a local paint shop? Can you buy aerosol cans ready mixed?

Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

Current price for stocked paint is Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£5.29 for 300ml, and the larger cans of primer/lacquer etc are Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£6.29. To have it custom mixed off your paint code is Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£7.99 for a touch up, Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£9.99 for 300ml aerosol, and then for a compressor it's Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£13.99 for 1/2 litre, Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£24.99 for a litre.
