just got my car back from the garage after needing a new set of front pads fitted, was feeling to lazy to do them my self and thought how much can they charge to fit new pad cant be that much surley..... ?113!!!! bloody robbing sh1ts.....nearly ?70 just for the pads, they told me its also going to need the front discs and rear discs and pads done on its next service in about 2000 miles time...... so im doing these myself before i take it in for service, been looking around for the parts but not 100% sure how i find the right ones... found this site can anyone confirm that these will fit my car? its a 2000 1.8t......

It shouldn't be anywhere near 70 quid for pads from vw. Gaybar mate ::)

Pads are about the ?20 mark from GSF. Discs are about the same

yer the prices are higher at dealerships the prices are higher than the list prices why is that. i think your better off going to a car super market the prices are cheaper.

put on some old clothes get your hands dirty!! get em from europarts/german swedish french save money and diy dont give vw money for things you can do your self!!! ;D
