tensioner should be fine having covered 3 k, water pumps about 80 to 100 k i think, does it use water?

take the alternator & pas belts off, and run it bifly.  If the noise doesn't go its the tensioner, or the belt is too tight.  If the noise does stop its the alternator bearings, PAS or water pump at fault.  Put each belt back on 1 at a time till the noise returns, to narrow down the cause :)
