Post by: dubaudio1 on 11 September 2006, 23:34
hi i have just got fk highsport coilovers and got kersher carmona wheels (7.5" front and 9" rear by 16").i`m going to put toyo t1-r (195 front and 215 rear) on them .i just don`t know what profile should i go for 40 or 45. if i will fit 40 there is less chance i will rub the arches on big bump or under load and will look bettar.i have mix advice on them.
what will it be difference in handling ,comfort etc if use one or the other?
p.s.
sorry for spelling i`m not English
regards thomas

You should go for 45's really , that way your speedometer will still be fairly accurate .

40 would be better for the arch and looks graet but it will affect the ride quality, i have 205-40-17's and have lowered car by 40mm but it can be rough!!!
