Hi guys, imk a bit new to this stuff so bare with me.
I just recently purchased a mk3 1995 GTI 16v, :smug:
Only problem is that its an import from japan, and therefore everything is in Kmh, I went to VW today and asked if just the speedo could be changed and they said no the whole cluster has to be replaced.
and will cost £450-500 to replace including fitting.
Is there any way around this? or any suggestions?
help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Sure its easy peasy and cheap. Look on ebay or in scrappys for a new set of clocks. It will plug straight in. If the speedo is reading wrong after this you will need to order a new drive from vw (this may only apply to mk2's) which are only cheap.
