Title: Golf 2.0 gti performance increase help!

As stated above i would like to know what the best options are for tuning my golf.
This is the first golf i've owned hence the newbie question......

in all honesty; sell it and buy a 1.8T

Harsh, but true.  A lot more extra 'bang for buck' with the turbo. :sad:

How much have you got to spend and what are you looking for engine tuning or chassis and the rest? If you havent got much a remap, exhaust and induction kit might get you 10-20bhp. If youve got alot go all the way with a super/turbocharger for over 200bhp. For the money side of things buy a 1.8t as they are easily taken to 200bhp tunning a 2.0 will be expensive but unique. if its not all about straight line speed suspesnsion is easy as i think there are two types and lots out there. Brakes are quite easy to upgrade aswell.
