Title: Insurance after a remap
Post by: Desperado2 on 07 September 2006, 08:08
hi there,

I was wondering which companies are best to go with if you've got your car remaped, I take it that you realyl should tell the insurence people in case you do have an accident, however some won't touch a modified car (Admiral??)

I've not had a remap done but thinking about it and don't want to get stung with doubled insurence premium or anything just for the sake of 40bhp extra... I'd be better off buying a bigger engine car.

Your thoughts?

Ring HIC Insurance services: 08451 290 290 and ask for Martin.

He's a member of this forum and can get you a cracking deal.  Although I haven't used them personally, everyone one on here who has has had only good things to say

And if you're reading this Martin, how about some commission??

if ure getting a revo re map then theres no need to tell insurance its un traceable by insurance companies and main stealers, only traceble bya revo dealer,

i used to work for direct line, and i knowmost dont have the software to check.

I have been quoted a £65 increase on my policy with greenlight, and I'm only 23 with 1 yr NCB
