Title: 2.0 L 16valve conversion
Post by: Kevin.K on 04 September 2006, 16:39
Wasup people,

I am new to this forum.
Looks good I must say.

Anyways I have a question ( well a couple ):

I am from sunny south africa and I drive a polo classic ( sedan ), I recently converted to a 2.0 L 16 valve, with Mr turbo Management and using vr6 injectors. The motor itself is stock standard.

I had the dyno tuned and she pushed out a 115 HP.

Can any one tell me if this is about right or should I actually get more out of her?

Thanks

Welcome.

If that's the engine from the Mk3 2.0L 16v GTI, then it should be 150bhp not 115.
The 8v GTI engine has about 115bhp.

@ NotAnotherDubFan - the egine is from a mk2 gti
But the 150 bhp you mention is impressive, got any suggestions to get my power up to that spec ( nothing to extreme )

@ Dinx thanx for the welcome babe. its good to be onboard
