Title: Rocker Cover Leak...

Am new to this board, I have a 1.3 mk2 which am doing up so the poor thing can be back on the road where it should be!  Everything is going well, have replaced rocker cover gasket, but engine bay looks like an oily explosion!  I need to clean this off, what tips has anyone got?!  Any good products for removing all this very thick crap off everything?!

Any advice would be apprechiated!

spray the hell out of your engine with 'gunk' preferably while its warm as the crap all over it will be softer. then scrub it all and wash it off. try not to get electrics too wet. i've jet washed mine before with the engine running and its been fine.
