Has anyone had any luck with getting paint to stay on their calipers? I sandblasted degreased and painted my Calipers last fall and notice they are flaking off now. I didn't use Caliper paint. I used red oxide primer and about 5 coats of good quality paint. They looked really good until now. Does caliper paint stay on anybetter? I hate to drop all the money for caliper paint if it is going to fall off the same as this. Thanks in advance.

I cleaned and degreased mine with Hammerite thinners, then applied a good 3 coats of Hammerite smooth, still looked as new when I sold the car 2 years later. ;)

Sounds pretty good. I was wanting to do them red again though. I haven't seen Hammerite in anything other than Grey and Black. Do they do other colors as well? :)

well ive got 'enamal' paint for mine, hopefully it will stay on!!!, you need a high temp paint or else they will get hot and the paint will roll up and fall off

If this caliper paint don't work I'll get them powder coated. lol

my mate took his calipers off and got them anodized. it was ?80 for all 4 but its a chemical bond so thoretically it won't come off unless its scratched or mechanically comes off.

Hammerite comes in a good selection of colors, I used smooth red Hammerite to paint the callipers on my old mk1 and it produced good long lasting results.
