Title: fitting suspension

Hi i was wondering what tools you need to sit suspension i need to change my front suspension i have the new springs and shocks one of the springs is compressed with the top mount but the other one i need to nick the mount off my car. is it a easy job to do or do i need the proper tools.

if its the same as the mk3 m8 its more than easy to do and you dont need any special tools ;-)

you need some spring compressors to do it properly its well dangerous without tbh

definately get spring compressors, need stut top tool aswell to undo the nut holding the unit together, although some people use a few diff tools to get it undone, theres plenty of posts about this from before

umm think i might just call around see if my local garage could do them it prob cost me more to get the tools than it would to get a garage to fit them.
