Title: piper cam to 8v gti

hi i just got piper cam with vernier pulley for my 8v gti. the cam is bp285 code and it`s used (i don`t know haw many milage it has). i`m going to fit it next week and wondering do i have to change cam follovers as well    or are you doing this only if you are fitting new cam?
please advice.

If its hydro I think you'll get away with it, unless the old tappets are badly worn.  I think you'll still need to do the bedding in procedure if its a new cam tho.
