  going to look at a H reg 16 valver tomorrow apart from the obvious is there anything i should look out for

just the norm i think the engines are 'bulletproof' and mileage aint a prob!!! so you sellin your other one??? ::)

    got the mk4 gti, want a camper in a couple of months,and this 16valver is the right money the missus wont let me keep it so its got to go

bet your lookin at alot more than you paid for it!!!! lol (i remember the price you told me!! lol ;))well well see if my 8v goes may be interested!!!, got a 16ver on the cards also but all depends on sale of 8v!!!! :o

gearboxes on the 16v are the only weakspot,but should show up anything nasty on a testdrive

yeah i knows what its like lol!!!! ;D i cant be arsed with my 8v anymore got 5mnth tax and 1 mnth mot ?300 bargin i reckon!!!!!
