Is this car owned by someone on here ? Either way looks like a lovely motor and with those miles worthy of the "rare" label

A under bonnet sound insulation get the rare label on ebay lol. Mk2's aren't rare, there are loads of them! Buccati Royale's on the other hand...

bit of a rip off IMO

the standard gti brakes aren't poor. I had mega worn 239's on a previous car and she stopped very good.

Dizzie your stating the stupidly obvious about about MK2's not being rare and I agree but a MK2 GTI with that miles on it, show me another if you can ?

no offence dizzie but it doesn't say its rare! or did i miss something?

either way its a minter and with three sets of nice alloys there's easily another grand there......... i wouldn't buy it but thats me!

I put in the original post that I thought that a car with those miles on it could accurately be described as rare, I don't think its worth 5 grand but it does seem a very nice motor and as you say Joe thats a few quids worth of wheels with it as well.
