Title: final touch help

hey all

got few little daft problems with my mk2 vr6
wonder if anyone can help

my rear light on the passenger side keeps blowing its fuse for fun
wiring seems fine when i checked it out

and the vr6 clocks they is 3 plugs on the loom
2 blue plugs which go where gti loom went
and a small black plug i dont know where this goes
and i think its causing them not to work properly

oh and is they any decent places for alloys
i am after some tt ones in black spoked forgot name of them

On your lights I would sugest that a live is being earthed some place through a worn insulation sleeve. It may be a wire some place with a nick or scrape in the insulation that only makes contact with earth when driving or bumping about. When you run a tester through it that earth may not be ebing made so will appear ok. Just a suggestion as it could be many things from teh switch to the bulb holders? Also sounds daft, but the bulb may be the wrong type?
