Title: lowering my valver
Post by: matt16v on 22 August 2006, 18:51
hey guys

iv got a 1987 valver and i want to lower it but iv not got a great deal of wedge to play with so coilovers are probably out of the question and i need some advice on a decent suspension kit?

also, iknow the valvers have a 20mm drop as factory fit so how much can i drop it on the suspension kit on standard 14s til its gna cause some arch rubbing issues?

cheers

matt

mine us dropped another 20mm. Had no probs with 15*6.5 wheels. Only now with 15*7 have I got issues!

Seen a set of FK coilvers for £275 at VW festival ast weekend - seemed cheap, but don't know what quality is like, some one else will better advise!

for around £200 me and several other on this forum rate the bilstein/ventura lowering kit from www.eurocarparts.com will give a nice drop and with your wheels i'd expect no rubbing issues. i had a set with 7x15's and they were fine.
