Title: gt tdi warning glow plug light and "engine workshop"
Post by: pottsey on 22 August 2006, 16:26: can any one tell me whats gone wrong with my baby (gt tdi 150bhp) the glow plug light is flashing and "engine workshop"
has come up in the dash . any advice would be great before i have to go to VW and have my pants pulled down

the glow plug light probably means that the plugs have had it mate (Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£20-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£30 fix if you diY it) but you'd really need to get vag-com plugged in to truely diagnose the engine light.

id try the plugs first, if they havent been done recently, and get a vag-com reset, see how it goes
