Title: How do i remove the sump?

the sump seems to sit under the gear box on one end! i've un-done all the bolts but it jst doesn't want to budge! i can pull it off at one end but the end that is under ther gear box seems to be stuck as tho there is another bolt under there! any ideas?

yeah there are loads of nuts but the sump maybe stuck to the block tap it with a mallet to free it

There is a cover plate on the gearbox end of the sump, remove this and there will be some more hidden bolts.
Don't hit the sump with anything until you are sure all the bolts are out.

yeah take off the cover as stated think it is either 11mm or 13mm nuts then, you need a flexi extension ideally, be careful not to round them off!  :smiley:

it was 11mm bolts on all the covers I've removed...

I used a 1/4" socket and a 3/8" with wobble bars to get in there.

once all the bolts are out it may need prying off as they have a habbit of becoming one with the block.
