Title: Head Unit removal
Post by: golfdude on 19 August 2006, 17:29
Hello All,

Soon to become a Golf GT TDI owner come 1st September... looking forward to it.

Standard head unit looks basic and I have plans to implant a Pioneer 75BT within a couple of weeks.

How easy is it to pop the stock stereo out of the dash... what's the procedure and do I need to invoke the dealer for special tools?

Thanks

Frank

See my "HOW TO: MK5 GOLF Nokia Car Kit PART 1" guide at the top of the Mk5 section - this tells you how to remove your Golf radio
