could anybody recommend cabriolet roof cleaner, i've used LACROE vinyl hood cleaner for some years but have now run out and has been unavailable from LACROE & VW for some time........p.s. my hood is white so a good safe water proof cleaner is required

Autoglym hood cleaner. comes in 2 bottles. one for cleaning and the other to make it water proof.
amazing stuff

thanks for the response been looking at that cleaner for some time but have been reluctant to by it waiting for a recommendation i hope its better than their vinyl/plastic cleaner used that on my roof and it was dreadful to the point where i think it caused some shrinkage because it became very difficult to close

im guessin its for a vinyl roof then?
blue's right on the cab cleaning kit, my dad uses it, and i've just got a set for diane too! working in a car shop, not had people ask for anything else in the year i've been there!

I agree. The only reason we sell the other stuff at work is because we've run out of the Auto Glym.

auto glym is gud stuff...
i find it easier to have your cloth a little damp wen using the actual cleaner thou, makes the product go further but with same cleaning results...
then use the spray after wiping it clean, causes water to turn into droplets when it hits your roof..
ive actually got a mohair roof, wasnt too keen on cleaning the vinyl when i had it..never looked clean whatever i used :undecided:
Dinx
