I just got my 2007 MY brochure through the post from VW.
Just look at the 2007 radios - it looks like someone has hand painted the radio buttons...

I-pod / USB thingy
Nasty radio
3 full sized rear head rests (not sure on GTi / R32)
Reverse activated kerb-view adjustment on passenger's door mirror (Lux Spec & Reverse park sensor pack Only)
Automatic hazard lights activation under emergency braking
GTI has no blue glass or brochure has forget it in the spec  - I Love that classy blue glass
That seems to be it - no LED rear lights etc

I've just got a 2007 model, with ipod in armrest, seems to work well. as for the radio, I've no experience of the old one, this one seems fine and sounds good. you're right about the glass, it isnt blue.
