The general concensous is using Quantum Synta Silver which you can get from the dealerships, and original oil filters too.

10w/40 ... but either 5w/40 or 10w/40 should do you, just don't get anything too thin, as the engine gets older better to use a thicker grade IMO. As I said, just go to the dealership or GSF and ask for Quantum Synta Silver.. pretty much everybody uses and recommends bud.
