Title: GTI Has Landed

Got a very surprising phone call off the stealer, :shocked:

My car was at the stealer's. :grin: 

I was told the build date was 21/8/06.  :sad:

Was never told car went into production.   :angry:

But who cares, dropped everything and fired to dealer.   :grin:

Dealer tells me I cant take the car until 1st September, due to 56 reg reasons, Bummer.   :sick:

Will annoy me to the max if I catch the stealer showing other people around my car!!!   :angry:

I now he does this, because he showed me around some1 else's GTI, and asked if I wanted to sit in it, Which I refused.

Wanted Leather, But my other half was having none of it, she hates it when on hot days.

DOC, you are the lucky git, getting an R32 in September, I went back to change my GTI order in May to an R32, but was told I wud be waiting till January 2007. Oh Dear.

  Stuck with the GTI, Stealer told me I wud nt regret it either.  I probably wont at first, until I have a go in the R32.

I will be picking it up 2morow, Will post pics, Sweet 56 plate on the 1st September. he he

You won't be disappointed,may get the odd rattle but for sheer drivability and grin factor  it's the best.I normally get bored with new cars after six months but this is just so good.Just keep finding excuses why you need to pop out without the other half and give it some.That exhaust note when  changing gear from set off is orgasmic.Or is thst just me. :

'I Pod thing'  I wasn't aware there was such a thing for the Mk5 Golf.  I picked up my latest Golf only 2 months ago and the dealer even then hadn't heard of an I Pod adaptor or what like.  I am still after one as I get bored really quickly with the 6 disc CD stacker as I love flicking through the tracks. Apart from that you'll love the Gti as I did mine before I picked up the R32. :smiley:

so exciting, a 56 number plate, forgot they were coming around. u cant ask them to give u an 06 so u can have the car now rather than wait till 1st sept?

makes me feel old now with my 55 number plate  :sad:
