Title: Pioneer DEH-P2600R? - Comments please
Post by: VDubDave on 14 August 2006, 19:54
I'm getting a VW Golf MK3 next week. Unfortunately it's coming with a cassette player (???! :embarassed:!??). I've been offered a Pioneer DEH-P2600R and Aux adapter for £50 including postage.

1) Does this sound like a good deal?

2) Is the Pioneer DEH-P2600R a good stereo?

3) Does anyone else have any better offers?

I appreciate your comments on any or all the above questions.

Cheers,
Dave

Should this stereo plug straight into existing VW wiring?

Cheers,
Dave

Sounds like a good deal, might be second hand though cause it's a old model. Go for it, at that price. Just depends what your stereo requirement's are. Don't think it's got a Preout so you won't be able to run a sub/amp at a later stage.

Hope this has been a help

Cheers for your reply.

It seems okay after being in the car for two weeks. The front panel seems a little 'worn'. Does anyone know where you can get replacements?

Oh, the VW wires had been cut already so I put an iso block on.

Cheers,
Dave
