Title: Accessing Menu's In DIS?

How do you actually bring up the menu option in the DIS? according to the manuel you press the button underneath on the windscreen wiper, but nothing happens, i end up resetting the mpg.

All i want  to do is look at and change some light and vision & convenience settings....how do you lot manage this?
