Hi,
As some of you know I have removed my 8valve engine from my car for a swap with a better condition one.
My downpipe is knackered and has holes in it, i have bought a replacement and need to remove this one.
I need to know how to remove it from the mid exhaust section.... is there an easy way to do this, would it involve heating up?
thanks

the way i did it was to get my dad to hold the downpipe while i bashed the front silencer with a hammer. We did this off the car though!
If you can split the front silencer box from the rear silencer, it will squeeze thru the hole between the subframe & tunnel :)
