Ok so as it says in the forum sub section i'm new. I've been driving for about  8 months and i've been driving around in my mums corsa  :embarassed: But i'm off to cranfield to study and i'm after a mk3 golf and i want to know where else apart from here, auto trader and ebay are there any other places where golfs are advertised? I can get insured on a 1.6 mk3 golf on my own insurance bearing in mind i'm only 18 for £900 so not all bad really.
Also can someone tell me when the cambelt is supposed to be changed on the mk3's?

it's ok, just realised theres a great big search button at the top. Found it's every 60,000 miles

If ya buy a second hand car best change cambelt anyway as not always able to establish when it was last done!
