hiya just done head gasket ,now ive got an overfueling problem
when i turn on ignition the pump and injectors stay on ,,checked earths ,,relays ,,must be the ecu hope it aint ,,ive got a 1.8 digifant
-
if i cont. buzzes mine did that and turned out to be a blown ecu
-
Is the engine earth strap connected? if you missed it after reassembling your engine then i'm afraid your ECU is probably fried...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Digifant

You checked the fuel pump relay didn't you? Might have failed "energised" and hence isn't shutting down.
Sounds like the earth strap either between the gearbox and battery or the one between the coil and rocker cover but...........did you try turning the engine over without having the plugs in or the HT leads off? This too can cause a huge voltage spike through the ecu (and the hall sender in the dizzy).
Also, just to cheer you up (not) check your oil level now. You may well find, as I did, that the sump has filled with fuel. You're looking at an oil and filter change probably twice just to get rid of the petrol.
