Title: vibra technics front mount
Post by: Haribo! on 11 August 2006, 20:08: i need to buy a vibra-technics front engine mount, awsome gti did them for 135 quid but they dont have them on theyre online store so i dont think they do them anymore... anyone know where i can get one?

Post by: Haribo! on 14 August 2006, 00:59: i have a solid one at the moment and the vibration is doing my head in, it was on the car when i got it, its there as a cheap option to stop the 4 branch snapping, so i cant get a standard one and i aint keeping the solid one, so really expensive mount it is!

a bit off topic but where are these bushes for the subframe?

Post by: Judderi on 01 September 2006, 15:19: The front subframe is the bit that the front engine mount bolts to. Its a 2 piece frame. At each end the bushes join the 2 bits together. You will have to support the engine with a jack and drop the frame by undoing the 3 bolts to change the bushes.
