Surely there's more MK1 fans out there?!

Don't forget we cater for ALL MK1's, not just GTI's and that includes Cabbys and I know there's a lot of you here with soft tops :wink:

Out of the 1503 MK1's on our register we have 611 Cabriolets listed so we should have a good percentage at the show!

I frequent Knightcote (where parents live) and I work in Banbury I know Gaydon very well

Worth going to anything at Gaydon for the free museum entry alone. Awesome places for car nuts. THere's also a kart track and 4x4 experiance to enjoy up there.

I've been loads of time to mini events and I love the place.

Yep, it's dead easy to find, about a mile or two off M40 and well signed. We have a limited number of free entry passes to museum but after we've run out you'll still get discount.

I think there's a big Jaguar do on this weekend there too!

Damn wish I'd known about this event before, but am now busy this weekend, otherwise would definately have headed up for this!!

Notice you didnt have a category for "Best Mk1 golf van", I might've stood a chance in that one!!!  :grin:

Unfortunately a complete wash out due to the weather :cry:

We had maybe 50 cars max turn up but still had a cracking time, particularly Saturday night with the drink and music flowing! :cool:

For this reason, we only ran trophy categories for best of show and bgest regional display (as no other entrants for other categories - you fair weathered drivers :wink:)

Best of show awarded to Dave with his mint lemon yellow 5 door and best regional display went to the 'Berkshire Massive'

Check our site out for all the pics :wink:

Hoping next year will be much drier!
