I booted the car outta town earlier (about 5:30pm) after dropping a DVD off at blockbuster, and got onto the main road with this car constantly behind me no matter what speed I did... So I got to the junction and blasted away from it.... down to sum traffic lights and the hurtled up a hill with this car still chasing me, I thought it was a Boy Racer wanting a race... anywayz I've now left this car abit behind on a 40mph limit road (im doing 80Mph)... I get to my subburb and slow down to 30mph with the traffic and this car closes in on me and....
BLUE LIGHTS
... wooops....
... I pull over at a safe bit of road... I press the window down and he says "So how fast u reckon u were going"... I reply with "dunno.. 50.. 60..70...??"
He asks if I have my documents... I didnt... he then escorted me to his car... Skoda Fabia vRS...
I get it... and blag blag blag.... saying im in a rush... its Xmas etc etc... every excuse I know... he says... "I have you on video.. you were flying along... good video I must say" ... Im like.. "uhm thanx???" ... he says... "U have a fast car... why try and prove its fast... is it a 8 or 16v? I say 8v... hes like... well your 8v left this thing back there...I have 2 options... one I can give u a fixed penalty and 3 points... OR I can give U a f*cking serious b0ll0cking and let u away with a warning"
... my response... "I'd take the latter if I could choose" ... he says... very well... just keep it down yea?.... he done a check on my car... called in the police radio woman gave em my reg... came back as "VW Golf GTI ... colour Black" then he said if its dodgy etc etc.. and summet about insurance... all came back clear.. like I knew it would.. and he said "Merry Christmas, keep your speed down"
....
I then fell outta the car.... changed my keks and got back into the car.... and drove home at a steady 20Mph LOL....

I had one of these one night. I was 1.30am, joined the A3 just before Hook going towards London.
The A3 is a 50 zone, buy hey, it was late, i'd been working since 9am - i'm awake, and I just want to get home.
So purposefully, I kept an eye for a Police - I was awake.
As I pulled off at New Malden I finally woke up to the fact there was a car behind with a t*t on top. oops. He pulls me over, asks me if i've been drinking, asks me the speed limit (I'd done 74 all the way), and then tells me that they've followed me the whole way. doh.
He simply let me go with the warning, be careful sir, its a bit slippy out tonight.
Phew.
The next Policeman who pulled me over 18 months ago wasnt so lucky. I called him inhuman, short sighted, and a time waster. To his face of course.
When he threatened me with a breathalyser and search the car for drugs - i point blank confronted him and said the classic words:
"knock yourself out buddy - you wont find a thing"
Anyway, after 20 minutes I let him go with a reprimand. No speeding ticket, no showme, nothing.
I shook for days though.

U think thats funny listen to this ;).
Me n me mate was flying around these twisty rounds that had a speed limit of 30 (i was in my XR2 i and he had a Saxo), we was dong about 70 - 80 and who should go by on the other side of the road but the old bill. I knew it was them as I was 50% on their side (oooops) So I see em and think o sh!te :o, I check my rear view mirror and sure enough they are turning round to chase us. I tow it and get to a hump in the road where I can no longer see em in my mirror, so I think I am not gona out run em and quickly turn down a side round park up and turn my lights off. I look in the mirror and see a flash of blue and the siren, as they fly past the end of the road I am in.
I then get back to my house n park my mota on the drive so I am off the road.
About 15 mins later my mate turns up and says, "where the fcuk you go" so I told him , he then says he got pulled by the old bill who asked "where is the red car"......."what red car he says" .............................. ;D
Oh and if any bill do read the above, it is all made up ;)

You all sound too lucky for me!! Wot happened to me really does just confuse me!! :'(
I got pulled over by a power happy bobby yesturday evening and i wasn't even doing anything wrong!! No honestly i wasn't.
I was in town and came round an 80 degree corner doing certainly no more than 20.
This cop (there were 3) jumps into the road, asks me to get out and join him on the pavement. He then procedes to give me a bollocking for dangerous driving, telling me he'd like to put me away for 10 years and crush my car (his exact words!) and what could have happened had there been a pissed up person in the road.
When he said crush my car I thought he was gonna go into the Italian Job mafia line "Prettieeee car, very prettieee car!!!"
I really felt like shouting at him and tell him he can't do anything 'cause I'd done nothing wrong.
I just walked away from him and muttered 'Merry Christmas'!!!

I got pulled beginning of december for speeding, using my phone and havin foglights on unecessarily, wasnt traffic tho just to mateys in an undercover car. gave me a bollocking turned out to be a dub fan and proceeded to show me photos of a mk1 he was in the middle of restoring, ended up chatting for about 15mins! then i went home!

alright for some all the cops round here are w@nkers and dont do nowt about crimes other than wait ttill youve got a bulb out etc!!! LINCOLNSHIRE POLICE suck c@cks (each others) cause there not interested unless your parked on a double yellow or got a bulb out!!! they still havent cured the problem of they 'boy racers' in the car park behind my house doin f@ckin brunouts at 2am keepin my kids aqake at night!!!, here this LINCOLNSHIRE POLICE, you are w@nkers, how would you like some one with a 1k soundsystem doin burn outs and doughnuts out side your house at 2am???????? sorry enough said!!!! i think you get the message!!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Luckily never been pulled by the police!(touch wood)When me car got broken into n they came to me house,when they left they get checked out me car!I was like,yes u know its sexy! ;DI think they were quite impressed!Had quite a few compliments actually! ;D

I have a funny.
A few years back my mate buys some seriously modded Nova. He sees this old bill chase going on and thinks it would be funny to see if he can distract the old bill into following him instead, getting the other guy off basically.
So he comes to this big downhill and overtakes the coppers and the car in front then turns into my estate, parks the car up the road and comes to watch from my window.
We all laughing at the 4 copper cars searching the estate until they find it in the park. They call a tow truck and the last I saw of it was on the back of a tow truck with its alarm going off, looked like the poor car was crying (just like its owner). hehehe

The key to getting off a speeding ticket is to wear glasses. And this is no joke.
Every single time i got pulled in my valver all those years ago (14 times in 12 months), I never once got a signle ticket.
I had done everything possible to get a ticket. Quite simply - i deserved at least 3. But everytime somehow, even with my gob, i got off.
Every time I had my glasses on.
However, a year later I got a job in Fulham, decided the Golf was too big to park everyday, and reverted to my old MG Metro. I also decided on contact lenses. Within 2 months I was pulled for speeding by the same cop twice in one evening (within 20 minutes). Bang - 3 points.
Ever since then, whenever i've been pulled for *anything* I've always had glasses on. (Including a fantasic overtaking manouveure i did outside Battersea Dogs home - XX in a 30 zone. Quality move. The cops did 85 to catch me. I grovelled for my life that time. Humble pie - I didnt just eat it - i bathed in it!).

i just remembered.. have kinda been chased by the cops.. but never in me car... and me nearly losing a licence i didnt even have..
the end of town i live is close to the countryside.. there's a twisty old lane that runs from 'the shops' which then turns into a country road proper later on, not many people know its there as theres a bigger road that circles the edges of the houses and merges into this country lane.. well.. being youngsters at the time we frequently would cross this lane... one morning we found a moped there, honda c70 i think... after going to get a screwdriver for the ignition and booting the steering lock so it broke it was ours.. (it was a weird place to leave it, we later found out it had been nicked across town the prev night and dumped there)
so... theres 3 of us.. no one could ride a moped.. so i ended up riding it.. no helmet or nuffin.. goin wobbly up this lane with 2 two mates in tow joggin... up until it met this bigger road.. well.. i think we were planning on stashing the bike until we could use the cover of darkness.. we were quite jumpy of any activity... so when we heard any cars we'd hide.. turns out there was a cop car on the scene. maybe we'd been spotted and snitched upon? somehow i managed to get the bike down into this little country footpath, hopped off it just in time to see plod go past.. and ran/hid across fields back to the concrete jungle thinking the bike was a lost cause now.. we kept seeing this cop car driving around up there but i guess they didnt know about this little path, or that it also joined back up with that bigger road at one point... advantage of local knowledge i guess ;) we later recovered the bike at night and took it to a mates garage where it got de-number plated/chassis # removed and repainted silver.. we'd ride it around the fields :)

i was about 18, went with 4 mates (three guys, one gal) to butlins / somerwest world in minehead (I live about 20 miles from it) we went in there on day passes and got real drunk and 2 of my mates (the same two from the moped incident actually..) ended up pullin and spending the night there.. me and my other mate and this girl (who was on his case.. but he wasnt interested.. lol) ended up going back to the car to spend the night, now the car belonged to one of the guys inside the camp.. but i had the keys.. we were parked out of the way up on a big hill thats populated with mostly large houses and hotels on the opposite end of town from the holiday camp.. we got in the car and were trying to get comfy. (i was tryin to sleep across the driver/passenger seat, the other two were playing some kinda weird cat+mouse game in the back)... i remember seeing a big fat hotel proprieter guy had come out and was looking over at us.. but i'm not sure what he was thinkin... i ended up getting pissed off with the big white sign outside his hotel, and figured if i rolled the car back about 15 ft we'd be in the dark away from this big white sign + fat guy.. so using just the handbrake i rolled it backwards till errm it stopped kinda.. lol (in the morning it showed i'd part mounted the kerb and was at a funny angle..rofl)..
all sorted then methinks.. err.. wrong...
about 15 mins later up rolls plod shining lights in the car at us...

they gave us a little bollocking, laughed a bit, wished us good nights sleep and went on there way.
woulda been done for drink drivin without a licence if i'd started the car..
ohh and my mate fell asleep at the wheel on the way home and we were heading into a hedge.. i elbowed him, he woke up and sorted it out real quick n said 'thx mate u saved me life' lol!
golf related? it was a lil y reg gold golf 1300 (i think).. lots of electrical probs... head lights would often go out for no reason.. numerous times we would drive along with torches. hanging out the windows to see the way/warn other drivers.. lol.. oh and the ignition switch at one point was a house light switch.. lol

This made me laugh, reminds me of my first car and had to get my rear seat passenger to continuously pull on the string whenever it rained to make the wipers work. :)

oh ive been chased by them before it s*** me up aswell...
but if the car is unmarked he cant legaly pull you over as you cant just have a siren and blue lights as a police car it must be marked.....if it happens your ment to drive to the nearist station or i'd just plant my foor down if he started to tail gate me and later if they come around i could say i thought it was a nutter!
or as long as they dont see who driving it say it wasnt you they have to prove it was you and it was your car and not a clone!
there was this asian lad on the tv who belted off from the coppers and he gave them loads of abuse!
i wouldnt do it on a marked car unless he is way behined trying to catch me up!
want a tip back streets get rid of them!

dont you think it was due to the fact you got caught twice but the same cop in the same night he thought u were takin the piss a bit! pretty lucky on the rest though
a lot of getting pulled by the bill is luck, but the nicer you are the more likely u are to get away wiv it! DONT get cocky, its not worth it! 8)
