Hi,
whats the best tyres to put on 15x7s? i want the lowest profile possible, and i want them stretched on...
cheers
-
something like a 175/40/15 should strech on there id have thought. dont want to go too low a profile if your strechin the tyres tho.
-
is there even a 175/40/15?? i dont want the tyres to be stretched extremly cos i've been told it effects the handling
-
if you want them to strecht you wanna go 15x6
if you want 15x7 tyres..gud ones...i think you shud get the same as me..and get toko a539s..cos i rate em..

i think i would go for 185/45/15 or 185/40/15 if possible, where can i get these tyres from, as i asked my local tyre place he said 185/55/15 is the lowest profile there is!!
-
i also checked a site called, www.etyres.co.uk and even on that site they came up with 185/55/15!
-
^thats where i originally looked, but as ive used them before so knew the company they used up at my end..
i ended up with 195/40/15 and im a happy chappy...thou i think im gonna have to put spacers on the rear as ive got abit o rubbin..

nankang do the NS-2 in a 185/45/15 and they are only £31 a corner.... but they arent know as nankang hedge finders (in fiat circles anyway) for no reason!
also... pirelli do the p6 in a 175/55/15 which are about £62 a corner.
and if your feeling rather mental, kumho and hankook do tyres in a 175/50/15, ranging from about £40 - £51 a corner
EDIT: the seicento euro boys frequently run 175/50/13 tyres on a 7x13 wheel, so i cant see it bein a problem on a 15" wheel if u want to go for that stretched euro look
and according to http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html the 175's are 1.57mm smaller in overall diameter than the 195/45's as well
-
lol ive heard them called nankang ditch finders before  might have to give them a go on my sebrings as they are 6j and 195 is a bit too wide really
-
mate... if youve got 6j wheels, then go for the 175's.
they will be a lower profile than the 185's..... and no one likes tractor tyres

aww you got my hopes up then
sorry hunny..was me havina blonde moment!
