whats wrong with it? boiler not firing up? air locks?

we were  gettin a serious amount or air in the radiators, havin to bleed them daily!

now its just not even doing anythin?

'firing up' that could be the phrase..

plenty of oil left.   Also for ten/fifteen min today it was making a loud squeeling/screaching noise?

do you know about these things? i havn't a clue ???

i dont know much but i like to have a go.

The squeeking noise could be that the waterpump has finished.

Im not sure about the old type boilers but the combi ones (i think) have a pressure release to let the air out.

unlucky!!!, are you getting any 'oil' to the boiler??? could it be the fuel pump making the noise then packed up???, i know that dosent explain the 'daily bleed' on the rads but you should still be able to get the old girl to fire up if theres fuel!!!,

when i put water or heating on it's no longer doing the usual
