Hi Guys n Gals,
I just joined today! First post.
I have been checking out the site for the last few weeks and reading the Golf Mk2 forum has been very helpful in convincing me to get a Mk2 Golf GTI 16V, that and carsurvey.org .
Ideally I would like a 3 door late model, which has been unmolested as I want to keep it that way.
Nice to have found this site and hopefully I will be able to enjoy the ride soon. I can't wait!

Hello, ello ello
It's a Greek word and it means a native of the island of Chios, which is a Greek Island in the Aegean Sea. I chose the name as it is where my mother is from and I like the name.
It is pronounced "Hiotis", in Greek an "X" is pronounced as a H. That's enough Greek lessons for today :nerd:, I bet it's all Greek to most of you anyway
Thanks for the welcome.

hello and welcome
I saw a nice black valver in autotrader actually for £795, but its north west so totally useless to you if you live down south!

I appreciate the heads up.
I don't mind travelling up North to get a nice one and £795 sounds like a good price. I think I found the one you are refferring to, it has the smaller bumpers which is a shame. Should she have the smaller bumpers on a G plate?
