I was suprised that the 205 1.9 lost.
not that i know anythin about pugs tho?
I thought the 1.9 was suposed to be a bit of a beast?

a rattley beast at that, having driven a 1.6 an it as a bag of sh!t..

so 1.9's are naff too are they? anyone know?

They are fast. Just that they had it up against the new pug 180bhp gti, 50 brake difference which is even faster and not at all lardy like a mk4.

yep the 'garlic' 1.9 pugs are quick, it suprised me too i thought they would have been equal if not the 205 win!!, but there ya goes!!!, oh yeah it was over 1/5th of a mile and NOT 1/4 i wonder why???????, id like to see the same test on the 1/4 at least one of the results may have been even or different!!! oh yeah whats with the 'lardy' bit!! i like to call it more refined!! lol  :D :D :D :D
