Am i right they sit lower than standard Mk1 Gti seats? If so I reckon i had better get some.
-
I am also interested in this, so I will race you to the first avaiable 'rocco storm seats ;).
Steve.

Well i am not too bothered in having leather, the Mk1 is going to be a cheap track day weapon. If i could get some more Rado seats i would use them, problem is a like having them in the Mk2 too much. Hence the Scirocco question.
-
do rusty nuts hurt? cos i want some ;)
-
Original joke alert, shall i get you your coat! >:(
-

But keep your coat handy ;)

Thats alright coz so did I. ;) How about i get you a taxi too? Do you know anything about Rocco seats, you could be reprieved if you do!
-
I can confirm that Scirocco seats fit in a MK1, but if you want lower ones get the height adjustable ones, these are very good for fine tuning a comfy position for long drives.
Be aware that if you have amps under your seats, these will restrict the up and down movement of the seats. ;)
-
Sounds like a good plan, no amps under the seats for me though, that would add too much extra weight for track days ;D
-
lol! not for mk1's sorry i was just browsing threads and seeing what you old skoolers chat bout! cant think why they wouldnt fit tho, arent all vw seats similar? i dont think i will even take my coat off ;)
-
So has anyone got any kicking around?
-
Sod rocco seats when you can have Corrado seats. I have transfered the front ones i had in the Mk2 into the Mk1. That was because I bought a complete later VR6 Corrado interior from a scrappy with the leather steering wheel for ?100 and thats all gone into the Mk2. ;D ;D ;D
