A question here for you guys with heated windscreens,  without a heated widescreen, does the climate control compensate for mist and condensation on the during he winter?
and is a heated windscreen necessary  on a car with climate control?
-
Yes until +3 degrees then the Air con turns its self off to avoid the ac system freezing up
I thought that VW did not "do" full heated screens?
-
My Sony widescreen isn't heated or have climate control
-
so i gather that the GTi doesn't have an option for a heated front windscreen?
also how well insulated is the GTi during winter months? does alot of mist and condensation occur at all?
-
no
-
unless u leave the windows open.
-
There is no heated screen option.
No problems in the winter once de-frosted
-
when I picked mine up on 2.9.06, the dealer said VW are starting to offer heated front windscreens on golfs.
-
heated windscreen washer jets???
I just went on VW web and there is nothing mentioned or available to order :undecided:
-
Im sure I heard that ford had a patent or copyright on the heated front screen (The one with electrical elements)
I could be wrong though...

True BUT the VW sharan has it!
